The Board of Trustees are responsible for the overview of the scheme and the role it plays within the community and communities of Swindon and the surrounding areas. The Trustees are involved in decision making and the strategic development of the charitable Community Trust

Clive and Jon have been at the helm of the Swindon Town Football in the Community Programme for many years and have seen colossal growth and development during this period. They are responsible for the full time members of staff and 50+ part time staff who deliver the varied programmes on a regular daily basis.
Clive and Jon who are both UEFA A Licence coaches are jointly responsible for the development and quality standards of delivery for the Charitable Trust. They constantly liaise with the board of Trustees endeavouring to enhance and develop the scheme to even higher professional standards.
Clive’s background within his senior social work role has enabled him to develop various programmes particularly the Disability Programme combining his football and social work background and using it to its full potential.
Jon’s association with the Football Club as a professional player, and moving onto a distinguished semi professional career, combining his wealth of knowledge and experience has enhanced the scheme hugely during his time working for the Trust as Community Scheme Manager.
Shane Hewlett fulfills a duel role for the Trust in conjunction with Swindon Borough Council as a Football Development Officer. Shane’s senior roles include the delivery and development of the Soccer Development Centres and the Girls Development Programme, within the Borough of Swindon and the surrounding areas. In addition, Shane oversees the delivery of the Birthday Party Programme whilst ensuring the STFiTC day to day schedule is staffed accordingly. Shane is a ‘UEFA B’ qualified coach who in addition works on recruitment for part time staff .

Luke initially started with Football in the Community on a Youth Training Scheme, and is now a Senior Community Development Officer. Luke is a ‘UEFA B’ licensed coach whose responsibilities include the coaching delivery on the ‘Football and Futsal Education Programme’. In addition, Luke oversees a number of our After School Clubs delivering quality structured sessions to local School Children within the Borough and its surrounding areas. Luke’s extensive coaching experience proves a crucial aspect with the delivery and support of the ‘Advanced Development Centres’ which primarily feeds into the STFC Centre for Excellence Programme.

Beth Thompson is a crucial member of the STFC Football in the Community Trust. Beth’s main responsibilities are the running and the development of the Tiny Tots Programme, which provides an introduction to young infants to the world of association football. In addition Beth oversee’s a number of After School Clubs whilst delivering a Multi Sports and Social Programme to the Over 60′s who engage within our Extra Time Project. Beth also oversees our website and social networking for the Community Trust. Beth currently is a UEFA Level 2 qualified coach.

Dave is the newest recruit to the full time Football in the Community Trust. He manages the Twilight programme offering Footballing opportunities to local teenagers during the evenings within the Borough of Swindon. In addition, Dave oversees a number of After School Clubs whilst working hard on course promotions, the development of the website and linking in with the Swindon Town professional players, who support a number of Community Initiatives. Dave is currently a UEFA Level 2 Qualified coach

Stephen Robertson has worked for us on a part time basis since 2011 and turned full time in September 2013. He is responsible for coaching and supporting Luke Sharps on our Football & Futsal Education programme. He is also the Swindon Town Ladies Reserve team manager.

Andy is a member of the full time team joining in September 2011 . Following a successful work placement with the team during his Year 10 school year Andy became a valued member of the part time team before taking up his full time position. Andy is a fully qualified Level 2 coach and is responsible for the preparation of kit and equipment on a daily basis, match day experiences and the goalkeeping programme. Andy also works on our valued Disability Programme where he works with children and young adults with special needs.

Chyna joined the team late 2012 and is a key member providing administrative and clerical support to the STFC Community Trust. Chyna who is a keen local footballer herself and is a key contact for paying customers where she administers bookings for courses and weekly coaching sessions.

Andrew Tye has worked for us since February 2012. He supports our Football & Futsal Education programme along with the running and organisation of kit / equipment. Andrew’s pasion is social inclusion coaching and works on the different sessions that we as a charitable trust co ordinate and run.
Joe is a Business Links Co-Ordinator and also plays a key role in organising and delivering fundraising events for the Community Trust. He utilises his professional and business links alongside his experience of organising charity events to which the charitable trust benefits greatly. Joe is a well respected ex semi professional player and a keen supporter of STFC.
